Our client is an employer services firm that provides a comprehensive range of payroll, human resource, benefits administration, time and attendance, and tax filing and reporting services to about 400,000 employers in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. As market trends increasingly favor both outsourcing and software as preferred payroll solutions, our client is positioned to be the logical vendor of choice for many companies.

In order to continue their track record of success, our client is currently seeking a Director of Telesales. This individual will manage and direct the day-to-day activities and productivity of a start-up Telesales department including the direct supervision of all Telesales Representatives. Initially, this new division will be made up of approximately 5 employees. The new Director of Telesales will be responsible for growing the division to about 25 employees. In order to be successful in this position, the right candidate must have a proven track record of success in telesales and telesales management. Previous experience building and developing a department or division from the ground up is also a plus. The right individual will truly be a leader in the direction and formation of this newly created department as the position is responsible for hiring, training, and developing new Telesales Representatives. Will also assist the Marketing Department in developing marketing campaigns and promotions to increase receptivity to telesales calls. Will also assist in setting sales targets, determining individual Telesales Representatives’‘ quotas and ensuring that revenue generation objectives are achieved. Will provide various management reports and analyses on Telesales productivity. Assists in designing motivational and compelling incentive bonus programs, spiffs and other forms of recognition and incentive programming. May occasionally assist Telesales Representatives with closing sales of a complex nature and will need to monitor, coach and manage telereps. Ensures that telesales activities support overall sales goals and coordinates/integrates with field sales force as required and is consistent with the overall major accounts sales strategy.
