Our client is one of Southern California’‘s largest painting contractors with hundreds of professional painters in the area. Today they are a thriving company with a strong loyal customer base. Our client has two primary divisions working with builders, developers, property owners and managers. These two groups are the Residential Division and the Commercial Division. Over the years, our client has largely built its business in the new production home market. They remain one of the leading, new, single-family home painting contractors in Southern California. The Commercial Division has its emphasis in the retail, industrial, office, and hospitality industries.

In order to continue their track record of success, our client is currently seeking a Division Manager to manage their new drywall division. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the sales process. This person will personally contact potential clients, developing a personal working relationship with them and seeking out as many bid opportunities as possible. Will coordinate and assign bidding to Estimator/Project Managers. Will work with Estimators/Project Managers in coaching them on their follow-up calls. The successful candidate will also establish sales goals and work to maximize the close ratio of jobs bid. This position will also facilitate clear lines of communication and responsibility from the point of being awarded a job through its completion. This would be the oversight, but not the supervision, of all aspects from accounting (set-up) & billing through job production & collection. Will intervene when necessary to solve issues quickly to maximize a projects outcome. Will analyze which types of jobs and which clients yield the best profit potential. Likewise, determine which projects are troublesome and make recommendations accordingly.
